The 2016 Chaine Annual General Meeting, Dinner and Auction, started at 5:45 pm with a brief update on the council’s work and was followed by one of the culinary highlights of the year – a sumptious buffet plus gourmet foods prepared at four stations created by our own Maitre Rotisseur Executive Chef Peter Crook and his brigade. The dinner was complimented by Bob Charlton’s customary selection of fine wines.
A silent and a live auction were a highlight of the evening with Roland Milaire and John McCullum as auctioneers. The auction featured fine wines, wine accoutrements, gift certificates for dinners and services, luxury hotels stays, quality culinary items, golf getaways and much more. The proceeds support both our bailliage and our scholarships to talented young chefs and sommeliers.
