Nestled on the shore of False Creek at the foot of Howe Street, Ancora’s picturesque seaside setting provides the perfect backdrop for Executive Chef Ricardo Valverde’s cuisine – a fusion of Peruvian and Japanese flavours and techniques (with a special focus on fresh seafood) that reflect a mingling of East and West in Peru that goes back more than 150 years.
ANCORA’s very fine cuisine has earned it a legion of distinguished awards, including a 2017 Award of Excellence from Wine Spectator and inclusion as one of Canada’s 100 Best Restaurants!
Chef Valverde (who was born in Peru and came to Canada at age 18) has created a custom tasting menu for our enjoyment, with each course paired with a fine wine as selected from our Chaîne cellar. Come and experience what I know will be an enjoyable and unique experience.
